Hey y’all!!

The official one month on mission blog!

Me and my team have had the blessing to come along side and help with prayer walking, going to the dump ministry, speaking at micros churches, leading at VBS, ministering and praying in the hospital or just staying on the farm with the locals. Serving in anyway we can, SO MUCH fulfillment comes from being the hands and feet of Jesus!

Prayer walking has been so amazing, praying for peoples needs and making relationships with the families. The Lords shown up in extraordinary ways the little time we’ve been here.

Not to mention having the best translator ever (side hustle could literally be a stand up comedian, haha.)

We do have some days heavier then others; but always filled with love. Love either from the team, the locals or the precious kids. Its crazy we came here to serve but I have learned so much from being able to live in this culture. (never want to come back)

-Community is held so dear and is not looked past but actively pursued. There intentionally to being hospitable and love others can only be from the Lord. They might not have all that we have in the states but do they have the Lord. They really understand and apply what the bible means when talking about the value in unity and community. They make our greatest commandment a reality everyday.

Most of the time there isn’t even enough room for our group to all enter their homes but they always would invite us to come in out of the heat. We never left a home without hearing “our door is always open”.

They are so intentional to Love each other like Christ commanded. The Lord created us to live among each other in a community.

Back in the states we are starving for community but don’t even know that’s what we’re looking for. We were created to love each other like Jesus. God  knew people needed people.

Even kids do it so well here, they don’t really care about what your doing with them or bringing to them. They genuinely just want to hang out with you, i came to love on the kids of Nicaragua but they have loved me so well too.

If you don’t feel loved go hang out with some kids, i promise by the end you will. The children of Nicaragua are over flowing with love. There’s a reason God said the kingdom of heaven belongs to those like children.

If your praying, pray for the physical needs to be met here and to keep filling them with His love everyday; also pray for us in the states to actively love each other more like Jesus. “Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.” ??1 Peter? ?4:8? ? If we overflow with His love, i think everything else we’re striving for would flow freely.

THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT!!- “And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” Luke? ?10:27? ?
