Hey y’all!

I am currently in a bus I’ve been in for 9 hours and we have about 2 hours left til we get to our ministry in CostaRica!!! Hasn’t been as bad as it sounds, it’s it’s own little adventure.

Saying goodbye to Nicaragua and all the relationships i’ve made this month was so much harder then I thought it would be!!! But WOW what a blessing it was, every single moment, even the hard ones, i’ll treasure forever.

-LETS TAKE A LOOK BACK!!!!!!

I wanna just take a moment and look back on all the great things the Lord did and the great memories!

Provided for Kimberly’s family!!

This is a big one! The Lord really showed up for this family through everyone who gave. I thought maybe I could raise like 200 hundred dollars to help with medical bills for Kimberly instead you guys gave almost 900 dollars!!! This means next monday construction on a new house for them starts! How incredible, the Lord provides!

Sadly I wont be there to see the house but i’ll be sent updates and pictures and will update you guys!!

Spike ball

One of the small blessing has just been playing spike ball with my team. It’s just been so joyful and discovering a new hobby i’m most definitely taking home lol. my competitive side has been exposed but me and Marissa have been dominating so it’s all good.

hanging out with the kiddos

Hardest goodbyes EVER was these kids from the farm. where to even start, from destroying them in football, them making fun of my Spanish, mud fights, and really doing anything with them. They’ve just healed my heart truly. siting on this bus thinking of them with my eyes welling up.

kids are just such a testament of the Lords blessing and love.

Canadian Thanksgiving

Did you know Canadian thanksgivings is in october or that they even had one? i didn’t tell we got to celebrate it in Nicaragua for Marrisa. such a sweet time to just look back and be grateful for what the Lords done in, through us, and around us. What a blessing is it to have two thanksgivings too!!!?!!

cake n karaoke

last night we had one last hoorah. we all sang songs and ate cake, which was just such a sweet time to laugh with my team mates. songs ranged from frozen sound track all the way to PINK.

Had to sing great balls of fire with Josie and Marrisa (let me tell u we hit the notes). me and silvy took it back to the south with tomorrow by chris young, SUCH a great song.

hurricane Julia

hurricane Julia hit us and flooded the street on Saturday and Sunday BUT we still made it out to our favorite cafe. we all just drank coffee, talked and spent time with Jesus while it poured around us. we were all just so content there for hours! was the best rainy day ever until we got kicked out of our taxi to walk through the flooded streets lol. it was a good bonding experience haha.

SO much more i could say but those are just some of the highlights. can’t see how costa rica could be better but Mk says ‘life just gets better and better til eternity’

SO CostaRica we’re so ready to see what you hold!!!

  1. Praise Jesus, it took me a long time in life I think to realize that Serving others is really one of the great Joys of walking with Jesus. Love you and I am proud to be your dad!
